Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Christ Centered Church, 3300 Hudson Avenue, Youngstown for Mr. Ronald Kenneth James Lewis, Sr., 49 of Youngstown, who passed away Friday, March 24, 2017.
Mr. Lewis, affectionately known as “Ron Ron”, was born May 3, 2017 in Youngstown, a son of Ronald M. Sr. and Virginia A. Childs Lewis. He was a 1985 graduate of East High School, where he played football; attended Carbondale Illinois University and Youngstown State University. He had been employed at Fireline, Inc. and owned his own businesses as a tow truck driver, landscape service, and a car wash. He was also a coach for the Youngstown Little Bulldogs Football team. He attended New Bethel Baptist Church. He had a passion for fishing, bowling, and music – especially George Clinton; and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He loved his family above all other things.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Tracey; his stepmother, Ernestine; his children, Tanisha S., Jan’ya K., Ronald, Jr., Kimbrea D., Roniesha G., Domonique N., Queen V., Laquana M., Briauna I., Rhonda R., and Alyssa J.; his siblings, Sevalle, Wilbert “Darryll”, Denise T., Michael L., and Walter; 11 grandchildren; a special cousin, Tracey Oates; his best friends, Gary Benjamin and Mark Hollinshead; several nieces, and nephews, including his favorite nephews, Aaron Howard who was like a father to him and Anthony Jackson; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ja’Vel Bates.
