Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at Reed’s Chapel AME Church, 1939 Jacobs Road, for Ms. Gladys Bessie Peterson, 87, of Warren who departed this life Tuesday, July 26 at St. Joseph Warren Hospital.

Ms. Peterson was born September 4, 1928, in Oil City Pa., a daughter of Warren Watson and Bessie Anderson Watson.  She was a pharmacy attendant for 32 years and was a member of Reed’s Chapel AME Church. She was also an active participant on the Sharon Line Reunion Committee and The McGuffey Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Robert (Robbie) Peterson Jr. of Ark.; a daughter, Brenda (Charles) Williams of Warren; 11 grandchildren;   28 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ivory Ennis; 2 brothers, Theodore Anderson and Infant Brother Henry.

Friends may call on Thursday from 10 -11:00 a.m. at the Church.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
