There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, August 27, 2016  at St. Angela Merici Parish (Sacred Heart Church) with Father Kevin Peters officiating for Henry “Hank” Edward Williams, age 76, of Youngstown,  who was called to his eternal rest on Monday, August 22, 2016. 

Hank was born June 26, 1940 in Youngstown, a son of James W. Sr and Valentina Gutierrez Williams.  He was a 1958 graduate of Ursuline High School; Youngstown State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology; and National University, San Diego, CA with a Master’s degree in Psychology, 

Hank and NoraLee  Brownlee Williams were married February19, 1966 and from this union they were blessed with two precious children Wednesday Ann and Henry Eric Williams. 

Hank was a member of the St. Angela Merici Church.  Prior to his retirement, he worked in administrative positions at Essex Corporation, San Diego, CA, Caesars’ Palace Las Vegas, NV, Winston Salem Company, Cleveland ,and the Youngstown Area Community Action Agency, Youngstown.

Hank had a very outgoing personality and his presence was known when he entered a room.  He was very generous and had a passion for working with youths in need. His humor was infectious and you could always count on him for a good laugh. He was proficient in tennis and karate. 

He is survived by his 107 year old mother, Valentina of Youngstown; daughter Wednesday Ann Williams of CA;  sisters, Conchita Williams Hill of Cincinnati,  Coralia Williams (Harvey) Keye of Nashua, NH; Constancia Williams (Roger) Raines of Cleveland, and Carmelita Williams Douglas with whom he resided; grandchildren,  Saylah Williams, Ariana Williams and Eric Williams all of Poland; and daughter-in-law, Zenaida Williams of Poland; and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Hank is preceded in death by his father, James Williams Sr.; son,  Henry Eric Williams; brother, James Williams Jr.;  and brothers-n-law, John Hill and Bruce Douglas.

 Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Ho
