Services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church, 111 Water St., Girard, Ohio for Ms. Earlene Richardson, 65, of Girard, who entered eternal rest on Monday, September 12, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center – Youngstown.

Ms. Richardson, affectionately known as “Mama Earl”, was born June 21, 1951 in Shaw, Mississippi, a daughter of Benjamin Sr. and Ira E. Sanders Richardson.  She was a 1969 graduate of Girard High School.  Earlene was employed as an assembler with Delphi Packard Electric for 34 years, retiring in 2006.  She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and its Finance and Tutoring ministries.  She was also a charter member of the CSC Club and a member of AARP.  An avid sports fan, she enjoyed the Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers, and Browns.  She was a devoted supporter of President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle.  She enjoyed shopping and deeply loved her children and grandchildren.

She leaves to mourn her passing, but rejoice in her peace, four children, Rhonda of Dallas, TX, Corey of Youngstown, Siobhan of Girard, and Brandon of Wadsworth; five grandchildren, Jordan, Jairus, Jayme, Brandon Jr, and Alyssa; two brothers, Nathaniel of Twinsburg and Anthony (Trenna) of Millington, TN; four sisters, Ruth ( Keevan) Griffith of Chicago, IL, Mary Ann Richardson of Girard, Loree Richardson of McDonald and Lillie (John) Williams of Twinsburg; and a host of family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Booker T. and Benjamin Richardson Jr.
