Willie Delores Robinson

            Mrs. Willie Delores Robinson, 91, of Youngstown, transitioned to her Heavenly mansion on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 to join her beloved husband of 74 years, Alfonso, who passed away December 20, 2024.

            Mrs. Robinson, lovingly known as “Lois”, was born February 27, 1934 in Fairmont, West Virginia, a daughter of Willie and Tillie Childress Smith.  She was a 1951 graduate of Fairmont High School.  A loving homemaker, Delores was a member of Peoples Chapel where she served as an usher.  Delores’ love for Christ was always exemplified in her daily walk.  She would always call out the name of “Jesus”.

            She leaves to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life and legacy, six children, George Robinson, Terry A. (Althea) Robinson, Ricky Robinson, and Lamont “Charlie” Robinson all of Youngstown, Beverly Douglas of Centerville, and Emery Robinson of Columbus; 21 grandchildren; 51 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; and two great great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

            Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tillie Rodgers; grandsons, Troy White and Lamar Pierce; and her great granddaughter, Precious Nicole Robinson

            Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2025 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Ave., Yo., OH.  A celebration of life will follow at 11:00 a.m.
