Wesley Chapel, Fl – Tony Anthony Tillery, 65, entered eternal rest on December 13, 2025, surrounded by loving family.
Tony was born in Youngstown, Ohio on April 2, 1960, the son of Romey Tillery and Gwendolyn Hopkins his biological parents, and the son of Marcellus and Alice Tillery his adoptive parents. Graduate of The Rayen High School, class of “79”. He served in the United States Navy, active duty and reserves, totaling 20 years. Tony enjoyed being with family and friends, traveling, bowling, sports and photography.
Survived by his daughter, Tavoya Tillery of Tampa, Florida; sisters Melissa Tillery and Carmen Hopkins of Youngstown, Ohio; brothers Claude Tillery of Columbus, Ohio; John Hopkins and Delbert Tillery of Youngstown, Ohio. He is also survived by a host of family and friends.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Cardie McKinney and Marcella Phillips.
Visitation for Tony will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at L.E. Blacks Funeral Home, McGuffey Road, Youngstown, OH. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m.
