Timothy James Catley

Mr. Timothy James Catley 72, departed this life January 2, 2024. 

Mr. Catley was born September 24, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Lloyd David and Edna Louise Forrest Catley.  He was a 1969 graduate of South High School and also was a graduate of Youngstown University.  He had been employed for over 37 years as a Retail Advertising Manager for the Youngstown Vindicator.  He was an ardent supporter of all Cleveland sports teams, especially his beloved Browns.  He enjoyed discovering new technology items and was a frequent visitor to the annual Las Vegas Electronic &Technology Show.  He was also a lover of Contemporay Jazz. 

He is survived by his brother, Ron (Yvonne) Catley of El Paso Texas; and his sister, Michelle Catley of San Antonio, Texas, other family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; Carolyn Catley Fort and Nanette Catley Isom; and a brother Benjamin. Per Tim’s request, there will be no calling hours or services.  The family will conduct a private memorial service at a later date.  Arrangements were entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
