Mr. Terrance Maurice Turnage Chatman, 54, of Youngstown, transitioned from labor to reward on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Mr. Chatman was born February 25, 1970 in Youngstown, a son of Randolph Chatman and Sandra Turnage. He was a Team Lead Manager at the Boardman Applebees Bar and Grill for over 12 years. He was a member of Word and Music Ministries where he served as a deacon, and various other positions in the church. He enjoyed traveling, car detailing, mentoring others, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother, Sandra Weaver of Youngstown; three children, Terrance Towns of Warren, Tylen Chatman and Tyla Chatman both of Youngstown; two grandchildren, Kingston and Kalayah Towns both of Warren; two brothers, John Weaver and Jason Weaver; his significant other who he loved dearly, Toni Mitchell of Youngstown; his friend and mother of his children Tanissa (Eric) Roland; his “auntie”, Frances Turnage and Aunt Mae Mae of Youngstown who he adored; his dearly loved cousins from Columbus, Youngstown, and other areas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Chatman and stepfather, John Weaver.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Word & Music Ministries, 1451 Churchill Hubbard Rd. A celebration of his life and legacy will follow at 11:00 a.m. Guest are asked to wear masks.
