Tavia Kelley

Born on July 8, 1966 in Youngstown, OH, to Gloria Elaine Kelley and Alphonso Kelley. 

Tavia was a proud graduate of Struthers High School Class of 1984.  Following graduation, she furthered her education at ITT Technical Institute, where she studied accounting.  Gifted with a beautiful singing voice, she traveled with the Ohio State Choir and sang with statewide singers, sharing her love of music and inspiring others through song.

Tavia’s greatest joy was her family.  She shared many cherished memories with her high school sweetheart, Anthony, and together there blessed with a beautiful daughter, T’Andria Bethel, whom Tavia loved unconditionally and with all her heart.  She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to her beloved grandson, TayVion Beale, who brought immense happiness, laughter, and purpose to her life.

Tavia faithfully served at Worthington Industries, Univar Solutions, and North Star where she was respected for her commitment, dependability, and strong work ethic.  Her faith was the cornerstone of her life.  Tavia was a devoted and treasured member of Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She joyfully shared her gift of music by singing with the church choir and praise team.  In her spare time, Tavia enjoyed cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys, shopping, dining out, and spending precious time with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving daughter, T’Andria Bethel; her beloved grandson, TayVion Beale; her cousin, Eddie, who was more like a brother to her; his wife, Elizabeth Cox; their daughter, Tonisha Villanueva; her uncle, Herb Tinsley, and a host of family members and dear friends.

Tavia was preceded in death by her loving parents; her grandparents,; her aunt, Joyce D. Cox, Bertha Kelley Royster, Dorthy Henry; uncles, Lenoff Land, Leon Kelley and Edward Kelley and her cousin, Richard Villanueva.
