Tara "Jodie" Lyn Cox

           Services will be 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Monument of Faith C.O.G.I.C., 2165 Highland Ave., S.W., Warren, Ohio, for Ms. Tara Lyn Cox, 41, of Warren, who departed this life Wednesday, April 18, 2018.

            Ms. Cox, lovingly known as “Jodie”, was born July 13, 1976 in Youngstown, a daughter of Wardie III and Cheryl James Cox.  She was a 1995 graduate of The Rayen School and attended Choffin Career Center.  Tara had worked at the YMCA in Youngstown.  She was a former member of Destiny International Ministries and attended Victory Christian Center – Liberty Campus.  She enjoyed shopping, movies, word search puzzles and loved being with her family.

            She leaves to cherish her beloved memories her mother, Cheryl Cox and her sister, Marla Cox both of Warren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

            She was greeted at Heaven’s gate by her father, Wardie III; and grandparents, Wardie Sr. and Jodie Cox, and Elmer Sr. and Bettye James.

            Friends my call Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the church.  Arrangements entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
