Tanica Thornton

Ms. Tanica Thornton, 43, of Youngstown, transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Ms. Thornton was born August 11, 1981 in Youngstown, OH a daughter of Ronald and Barbara Langley Thornton. Tanica was a graduate of The Rayen School and was a certified licensed nurse’s aide. She worked as a home health care professional. 

She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, mother, Barbara; sister, Tiffany Thornton-Jay and brother, Todd Thornton; her aunt, Laura Thornton Brady; cousins and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, Ronald, who passed away March 1, 2024.

Private services were held on Monday, March 17, 2025.  Arrangements entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
