Sandy E. Baker, Jr.

            Mr. Sandy E. Baker, Jr., 48, of Youngstown, departed this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at his home.

            Mr. Baker was born September 27, 1976, a son of Sandy E. Sr. and Renita M. Adams Baker.  He was a 1994 graduate of East High School.  Sandy had been employed with Dinesol Plastics for 10 years, and was presently employed by Garwin Transport.   He enjoyed miniature golf, race cars, and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Sandy’s passion was the love for his family.

            He leaves to mourn his passing, but to cherish his many memories and the life that he lived, his mother of Youngstown; two brothers, Charles Smith of Youngstown and Marcus Baker of Tampa, Florida; special uncle and aunts, Melvin C. Baker of Tuskegee, ALA, Evelyn Roderick, Torah Adams-Lewis of Youngstown and Dawn Webb of Charleston, WVA; a cousin, Ariel Alli of Youngstown; an uncle, Roland Adams Jr.; and a host family and friends.

            Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd., Youngstown.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m.
