Mrs. Rose Marie Abrams, 88, of Girard, transitioned from this life to eternal rest on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at her home with her family at her side.
Mrs. Abrams was born February 19, 1936 in Youngstown, a daughter of George and Nettie Collins Ingram. She had been employed with General Motors Lordstown for 40 years. Rose was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed bingo, baking, attending jazz concerts, bus trips to casinos. She was noted for her pound cakes and mac & cheese.
She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, two sons, Randall (Sharron) Napier of Liberty and Keith Steward of Cleveland; a daughter, Sharon Napier of Columbus; eleven grandchildren, Robert “Troy” Napier, Ebony Napier, Tecokoa Irving, Corray (Holly) Irving, Kendall (Rachel) Irving, Moses, David, Theresa Lewis, Jessica Steward, Sierra (Justin) Napier-Leach, and Shanese Napier; 19 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Abrams whom she married in 1968.
Visitation will be Friday, January 17, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.
