Robert W. "Pab" Willams , Jr.

            On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, God sent His Angels to Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to gently escort his child to his heavenly home.

            Robert W. Williams, 68, of Youngstown was born November 8, 1956 in Youngstown, a son of Robert and Rebecca Davis Williams.  His family and friends affectionately called him “Pab”.  Robert was a 1975 graduate of East High and had been employed with Parker Hannifin (the former Commercial Shearing), retiring after 25 years of service.  He was a member of Impact Church at Liberty, where he was a member of its First Touch Ministry.  Besides his passion of being with his family, “Pab” enjoyed movies, traveling (their favorite vacation city being Las Vegas, NV), musical concert – especially “Earth, Wind and Fire”, and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

            He leaves to mourn his passing, but to celebrate his life and legacy, his beloved wife, the former Rhonda K. Thorpe, whom he married June 11, 1983; two children, Robert Napier of Youngstown, and Temeka Williams of Ft. Wayne, IN; five grandchildren, Jaida Napier, Maya Napier, McKenna Williams, Jace Napier and Kyla Lee Napier; his siblings, Doris (Jefferson) Townsend, Denise Diehl and Tiffany Venable, Frank Harris all of Youngstown, Robin Williams of Akron, and Eric Williams of North Carolina; two bonus sisters, Vanesa and Dorothy Dixon both of Youngstown; his uncle, Frank Davis of Youngstown; godson, Ro’Marro Wynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

            Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his bonus sister, Lynette Dixon; and brothers-in-law, Kenny Venable and James Thorpe.

            Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Impact Church at Liberty, 114 E. Liberty, Youngstown, OH 44505.
