Robert Lee Clark, Sr., 73, of Youngstown, transitioned from his earthly labor to his eternal home on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at his home.
Mr. Clark was born April 9, 1951 in West Palm Beach, Florida, a son of R. B. and Annie Mae Monroe Clark. He was a 1969 graduate of East High School. As a child, Robert was a Boy Scott. As years went by, he played softball for 15 years. Robert had been employed for 33 years as a machine operator with Ellwood Engineered Castings. Robert had a giving spirit and was a jokester. He enjoyed social games, played billiard and was with the APA League and was an avid Cleveland Browns. Robert’s passion was his children and grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
He leaves to mourn his passing, but to celebrate his life and legacy his beloved children, Antwan (Kareem) Grissett, Robert L. Clark Jr., and Steven Clark all of Youngstown, Natasha Clark of Boardman and Victoria (Jacques) Milsap of Raeford, NC; his brother, Enoch Clark of Florida; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Cynthia A. Cashwell; his second wife, the former Cynthia A. Ziegler whom he married April 9, 2013 and who passed away November 11, 2022; son, Robert E. Clark; daughter, Tiffany N. Clark; and grandson, Brandon Wheat.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 17, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd, Youngstown. A celebration of Robert’s life will follow immediately at 10:30 a.m.
