Richard Alan Stanley
Mr. Richard Alan Stanley 67 of Boardman, OH entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 24, 2024.
Mr. Stanley was born May 3, 1957 in Youngstown, a son of Will and Mary Jo Gray Stanley.
He enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and family. Every holiday his friends and family knew that they could eat a good meal at Ricky’s house and play a good game of cards. Ricky really loved his family.
He leaves to forever cherish his beloved memories, his brother, Joseph Jackson; sister, Paulette Orr both of Youngstown; special niece, Latasha Stanley of whom he raised and her daughter Laniya Stanley, the love of his life, and his partner of over 40 years, Lonnie Johnson; and a special nephew, Leonard McClendon of Atlanta, GA. Special cousins, Ben McGee and Anthony McGee; 1st cousins, Mary Chatman and Paula Johnson whom he called his sisters; nieces and nephews who was very close to him, Lynell, Lavelle, and Latefa Stanley of Youngstown; an aunt, Shirley Jeter, and a host of other nieces, nephews & cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Joseph Stanley, Rodney Stanley, William Stanley Sr., sisters; Vivian Stanley and a nephew, Lamar Stanley and nephew, Abdul-Kahman Muhammed.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am, Friday November 8, 2024 at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd, funeral services will begin at 11:00 am.
