Mrs. Priscilla Jordan, 86, of Youngstown, transitioned from this life to eternal rest on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at her home.
Mrs. Jordan was born August 21, 1938 in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Esther Hines Harris. She had worked as a kitchen aide with Golden Drumstick, and was a childcare provider. Priscilla was a member of Union Baptist Church, its Nurses Guild and Senior Choir.
She leaves to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life and legacy, a sister, Mary Simmons of Columbus; her niece and caregiver, Esther Corpening, and great niece and caregiver, Quitana Blackshear; and a host of other nieces, nephews, church family and many friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sam, whom she married November 23, 1968 and who passed away June 10, 1984; stepson, Howard L. Jordan; five sisters, Grace Hines, Peninniah Jackson, Anna Wiggins, Julia Grant, and Diane Scott; and a brother, John Harris.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Avenue, Youngstown from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of her life will follow at 10:00 a.m.
