Paulette B. Saunders B. Saunders

Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church for Ms. Paulette Burton Saunders, 61, of Youngstown, who departed this life on Thursday, December 13, 2018.

            Ms. Saunders was born March 19, 1957 in Youngstown, a daughter of Fredrick Charles and Mary Jane Crane Burton.  She was a 1977 graduate of South High School and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Delaware State University.  She had been employed with the Delaware State Correctional Institute as a correction officer and had worked as a social worker with the City of Dover in Delaware.

            She leaves to cherish her precious memories a daughter, Camille Burton of Youngstown; brothers, Cleveland (Michelle) Burton of Canfield, Shawn Burton of Akron and Grailing Burton; three grandchildren, Samanthe Bosket, Samiera Bosket and Tristan Williams; nieces, Dionna, Shawntte, Danielle; and a nephew, Fredrick Burton; and a host of family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; and a a brother, Lamont Burton.  Arrangements entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
