Patricia E. Eiland

            Mrs. Patricia E. Eiland, 81, of Fishers, Indiana, formerly of Youngstown, transitioned from this earthly labor on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Wellbrooke of Carmel Retirement Center in Carmel, Indiana.

            Mrs. Eiland was born December 7, 1944 in Youngstown a daughter of Harvey and Ada Gregory Clinkscales.  She was a 1962 graduate of South High School.  She was a licensed nurses assistant for many years. 

            Sister Patricia was a former member of St. James Church of God In Christ, where she served in the following capacities: past president of the choir, church anniversary committee, Sunday School, Youth Department and Sunshine Band.  She was a member of Higher Learning Church of Youngstown and its Church Mother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, writing, and participating in planning family events.  She was also an avid sports enthusiast. 

            She leaves to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life and legacy, five children, Crystal (Michael) Herron of Warren, Michelle (Antoine) Love of Clayton, NC, Cecil (Rhonda) Monroe of Youngstown, Jill (Charles) Davis of Fishers, IN, and India (Thomas) McCree of Raleigh, NC; six grandchildren; a great granddaughter; a sister, Clara Parker of Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

            Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert; five brothers, Harvey, John, Caleb, Oscar and Lawrence Clinkscales; four sisters, Mary Hall, Ada Wilson, Ann Boston and Ruth Wells.

            Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd., Youngstown. A visitation hour will also be held on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Monument of Faith Cathedral C.O.G.I.C., 904 W. Market Street, Warren, OH 44485.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
