Ms. Dorothea Davis

Ms. Dorothea Davis 54, departed this life September 21, 2024 at Mercy Health ST. Elizabeth Hospital Youngstown. Dorothea was born May 24, 1970 in Chattanooga, TN., a daughter of Charlie and Dorothy Washington Davis.

She graduated in 1988, from Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne, MI. She loved cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing but to rejoice in her peace; her children; Jasmine, Matthew, Donald Matthews Jr. and Destiny Matthews who was her caregiver; and Alexis Smith. She has four grandchildren; Zachariah and Zaria Lindsey and was rearing two of her four grandchildren; Zoie and Zayna Davis. She also leaves her brother Thomas Berry III and a sister Crystal Berry.

Services of love and dignity were entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
