Mrs. Mary Loretta Wallace
Our beautiful and beloved Mary Loretta Wallace 61, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 20, 2024.
Mary Wallace, affectionately known as “Candy”, was born August 18, 1963 In Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of the late George Robert and Mary Taylor Chavis. Mary was the founder and proprietor of Insurance Network Solutions, where she served her community with insurance and investment policies.
She graduated from South High School in 1981 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in sales and marketing from Youngstown State University in 1989.
Mary was a faithful member of Rising Star Baptist Church. There, she was a member of the praise team, the choir, worked in the nursery, and was the President of the Domestic Violence Committee. She was passionate about helping those in need of spiritual and physical assistance, those she encountered both in and out of her daily profession. Mary was also very passionate about singing, decorating her home, and vacationing in Virginia with her family.
Mrs. Wallace leaves to mourn yet leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, her husband and the love of her life of 32 years whom she married August 15, 1992, Kent L. Wallace; her children, Sanitria (Jason) Gardner, Ronnell (Regina) Elkins, Appollonia Baker, Vanity Wallace, Kent (Emily) Wallace II, Paris Wallace; her siblings, Lucretia “Squeek” Croom, Nora (Presley) Gillespie and George “Spanky” (RaShon) Chavis.
She leaves in love her grandchildren; Jezel, Sienna, Caleb, Caristian, Terry’onna, Terry’onne, Andre’onna, Kalien, Ja’mes; a great-grandson Messiah, and host of nieces and nephews.
She was loved by many including her honorary sisters, Davida Jones and family, and Hylemia Blacken and family, in addition to the members of the family group Sista Girlz that she founded which included her beloved cousins and their families. She leaves a special Godson Emmanuel Underwood & Goddaughter Savannah Kitchen.
Mary will be missed but she will never be forgotten as she is in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, father and mother-in-law, Edward & Elise Wallace, a brother-in-law, Eric “Vito” Wallace, and a grandson Jason Alan Gardner II.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 am, Saturday November 30, 2024 at Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave, Youngstown, Ohio 44505, funeral services will begin at 10:00 am.
