Mr. Ronald Keels
Mr. Ronald Keels, 68, departed this life on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Mercy Health Hospital in Youngstown.
Mr. Keels was born August 26, 1956 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Raymond Albutus Keels and Julia Martha Mason. Ronald was a 1975 Graduate of North High School. He was a faithful member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, serving on the Trustee Board for many years.
Ronald had numerous hobbies but among the many passions in life, he loved the most included him owning a landscaping company, restoring antique trucks, cooking, bowling and fishing, and especially spending time with his family.
He leaves to mourn his passing, but to celebrate his life and legacy; his wife, the former Mari Shivers; a son, Ronald Jr; (3) sisters, Rosalind Keels-Kennedy, and Robin Anita Keels both of Youngstown, and Raeshelle Keels- Williams of New Jersey; a brother, Ricky Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews. A god brother, Winston Higgins; and god daughters, Amy Smith & Jalisa Dawkins, and a god son, L.L. Smith.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents; Elder Carl & Agnes Mason, Raymond A. & Oneeda Keels Sr; and a brother, Reginald Keels.
Visitation will be Friday, January 3, 2025 at Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 2045 Jacobs Rd., Youngstown, OH 44505 from 10:00-11:00 am with the funeral services to begin 11:00 am.
