Minister Lee Vester Taylor70, departed this life April 30 2024.
Minister Taylor was born June 3, 1953 in Youngstown a son of Luther and Beatrice McGeeTaylor. He was a graduate of Hubbard High School and Youngstown State University with a Degree in Science and had also attended Medical School. Besides being a Minister, he had been a member of various organizations. He was a member of Columbiana Church of Christ, and had previously been a member of the McGuffey Road Church of Christ. He was loved Karate and had been an instructor of Karate at the McGuffey Center. He loved fishing, grilling, ministering to others and always carried his Bible with him. He loved the Lord and was very active in church.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his siblings, two sisters Roberta Mazyck of Sharon, PA. and Gloria Taylor-Howie and her husband Ralph of Coitsville, OH. A special niece Brenda Brewster of Michigan and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Aretha Parker and Wille Bea Clopton and a brother Calvin Taylor.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Columbiana Church of Christ 191 State Route 14 Columbiana, Ohio 44408 with visitation starting at 10:00-11:00am and funeral service at 11:00am. Services of dignity and love entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road Youngstown, OH. 44505.
