Mrs. Mildred Twyman, 89, transcended from her earthly home to her Heavenly Mansion on December 28, 2020.
Mildred was born August 15, 1931 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Lumpford Sr. and Mary Jane Friendly Carter. Mildred loved her family dearly. She enjoyed cooking, doing word search puzzles,playing on her Ipad and reading all the post on Facebook, listening to Gospel music and taking care of her plants. She loved working with children when she volunteered at the schools. She was a lifelong member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred faithfully served as Mother of the Church, she was on theKitchen Staff, Nurses Guild, and Pastor’s Aide Ministries. She was also a member of the Eastern Star’s Serenity Chapter and Daughters of Jerusalem. Her favorite greeting to everyone was “LUV YOU BABY”!!!!
She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy her children, Loretta Twyman Paramore, Edward Twyman, Darlene Twyman Hill, Tanya Twyman, Beverly Twyman, Denise (Orbie) Jackson and Sherri (Charles) Prince; one sister Beverly Rose Bryant and a brother RonellCarter; and a nephew she helped rear Robert (Eranie) Carter who was like a son to her; and Renee Twyman who was like a daughter to her; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends and her Triedstone Church family.

Mildred resided with Orbie and Denise Jackson.She was preceded in death by her parents; a son Kenneth Twyman; her brothers Lumpford Jr., Edward, Ronald and Robert “Bobby” Carter; a sister Audrey Carter; a granddaughter Kania Twymanand a great-great-grandchild Mahogany White; and a nephew Edward “Petey” Carter that she helped rear. Private services will be held at Christ Centered Church on Saturday January 9, 2021.
