“Baby Brother, you left this morning on your own terms and joined the elders.”
Mr. Mark Anthony Howell, 62, of Youngstown lived life to the fullest and by his own style and basically did everything he wanted to do.
Mark was born October 21, 1962 in Youngstown, a son of Carlywn and Anne Scott Howell. He was a graduate of Ursuline High School and attended The Tuskegee University, where he was affiliated with the Pershing Rifles Fraternity. He had been employed as a sales representative with Verizon Communications. He enjoyed socializing and traveling. Mark enjoyed his cigars and Jack Daniels!
His siblings all said farewell on Monday, June 9, 2025 and we know that Maurice, Linda, parents and grandparents welcomed him home. Both you and Linda are now catching up on music and who is to say what shenanigans you and Maurice are up to even on the other side. We will miss that deep roar of laughter and sarcastic as hell sense of humor.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother, Vernon Howell of Virginia; three sisters, Rhonda Howell of Cleveland, Beverly McMillan of New Mexico and Willetta Howell of California; and a host of other loving family and dear friends.
Your one last gift was that of an organ donor (lungs, liver, kidneys and eyes). Thanks for allowing others to thrive in a better life. Rest well, baby brother. We love you.
Private services were held at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
