Mr. Malik Anthony Stewart, 16, of Youngstown, departed this life Thursday, June 10, 2021.
Malik was born October 12, 2004 in Youngstown, a son of Melvin Stewart and Melissa Cotton. He was a student at Chaney High School. He had played little league football with the Kings Little League Football Team. He enjoyed dancing, music, football and spending time with his family.
Malik leaves to mourn his passing, three brothers, David Cotton, Melvin Stewart, Jr. and Marquise Stewart; seven sisters, Takiesha Cotton, Amanda Cotton, Melissa Cotton, Kevnisha Wright, Precious Wright, Mieasha Stewart, and Mya Stewart all of Youngstown; her grandparents, Charlie Mae Gaines and Jerome Cotton both of Youngstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family and friends.
Services were held on Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Jerusalem Baptist Church. A service of Love and Dignity entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
