Madison F. Clinkscale, 61, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 in Tacoma, Washington.
Born on November 26, 1963, Madison grew up in Youngstown, Ohio. He was a 1982 graduated of The Rayen School. He was a lover of learning, always taking classes and going to workshops to increase his knowledge. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite sport was boxing. He fought in the Golden Gloves for the Gene Minor Boxing Club. As an adult he continued to train recreationally under the Olympic Gold medalist Sugar Ray Scales of Tacoma. He was employed at The Port of Tacoma and Puget Sound Energy.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Jasmine Bailey, granddaughter, Emiko Bailey. He leaves his mother and three sisters, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunt, other family and friends who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy.
Madison was proceeded in death by his father, Madison Clinkscale Jr., stepfather, Daniel Eskew Sr., maternal grandparents, James and Mable Payden; paternal grandparents, Madison Sr. and Mattie Clinkscale.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on July 21, 2025 at Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 646 Lakewood Ave., Youngstown, Ohio 44502. A service will follow at 10:30 a.m.
