On November 13, 2024, God sent one his precious angels down to earth to escort one of His beautiful creations to her heavenly mansion, Mrs. Macyel Anita Scales, 75 years old.

Mrs. Scales was born on February 8, 1949, a daughter of the Mason Woods and Hazel Daniels.

She was high school graduate of South High School in Youngstown. She worked in production at Brentwood Originals for 30 years. Macyel attended Antioch Baptist Church and was a member of the Alpha & Omega, First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Macyel A. Scales leaves to mourn her passing, husband Samuel Scales of 59 ½ years, (2) daughters, Sonjia (Lonnie) Bufford of Columbus, OH, Kesha (Mark Boyd) Scales of Youngstown; (2) grandchildren, Antwann Bufford and Christopher (Margaret) Bufford of Columbus, OH; (7) great-grandchildren of Columbus, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, 10:00 am at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road with visitation from 9:00-10:00 am.
