Mrs. Kesha Lynn Tensley, 48, of Youngstown, transitioned from this earthly life on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Mrs. Tensley was born September 20, 1977 in Youngstown, a daughter of Julius Stovall Jr. and Sylvia Beachman. Kesha attended The Rayen School. She had been employed in the bakery department with IGA Supermarket. She was a member of Christian Bible Baptist Church, and was a “Stay at home Mom”. Kesha enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing, traveling, music, and was a great “story teller”.
Kesha was married to Robert Lee Tensley Sr. on July 19, 1996. Robert passed away on April 21, 2023
She leaves to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her beautiful life, her mother, Sylvia Nelms, of Youngstown; her father, Julius Stovall of Pontiac, MI; four children, Robert (Leanna) Tensley Jr. of Campbell, Kelyn Tensley, Olivia Sanders, and Oscar Thorpe all of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Adriannah, Robert III and Kalilah; her siblings, Deacon Jeremy (LaVone) Potter of Liberty Twp., Justin (Kiarra) Nelms Sr. of Youngstown, Julius III., John, Michael, Jeffrey (Anita) and Earl Stovall, and Barbara (Richard) Coleman all of Pontiac, MI; goddaughter, Mikayla Peace of Youngstown; bonus daughters, JaLiyah and JaMiyah Jenkins; bonus sister, Shaquiela Daniels; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kyra; sister, Bernice Moore; grandparents, Arrilous and Ollie Jewel Beachman, Lilly Stovall Matlock, and Julius Stovall, Sr.; a special cousin, Faleecha Howell.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
