Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 1210 Himrod Ave., for Mr. Justin Darnee` Underwood, 31, of Thailand, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Underwood was born August 27, 1984 in Youngstown, a son of Charles Underwood and Tina Mitchell Underwood.  He attended The Rayen School before entering the U. S. Army, where he served for 8 years as a supply specialist.  He worked as a government contractor with AC First Mechanics as a warehouse supply specialist.  From 2009 to the present, he worked as a data entry specialist with Sentel Corporation in Afghanistan.   An easy going and fun loving young man, Justin valued friendships and was a consoler.  He was an avid Cleveland Cavalier, Brown and Ohio State sports fan.  He loved lifting weights, and was a great debater on topics such as sports, politics and religion; and enjoyed social card games.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his parents; three children, Jasmine of Augusta, Georgia, Justin Jr. of Hercules, CA, and Jaya of Pattaya, Thailand; two brothers, Joseph (Diane) Underwood of Ft. Riley, KS and Tramaine Underwood of Youngstown; a sister, Braneisha Madison of Youngstown; grandparents, Delores Mitchell and Walter Mitchell; his fiancé, Phalcharphon Linthong of Pattaya, Thailand; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Juanita Fletcher and Charles Underwood Sr.
