Juan A. Vega Morales

            Mr. Juan A. Vega Morales, 39, of Youngstown, departed this life on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

            Mr. Vega Morales was born February 21, 1986 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, a son of Angel Vega and Luz M. Morales.  He was a graduate of Ursuline High School.  He was employed as a Transportation Officer for over 6 years with Transcor America.  He was a coach with the Boardman Little Spartans Football and Baseball Teams, and former coach for the Mill Creek Little League Baseball Team.  He was a Carolina Panthers Football fan and enjoyed baking.

            He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother, Luz Morales of Youngstown; two children, Damian Vega and Veronica Vega both of Youngstown; his sister, Sol Vega of Reading, PA; his stepfather, Juan A. Perez of Georgia; two brothers, Jose` Vega and Manny Vega both of Reading, PA; his former wife, Amanda Vega of Youngstown; his significant other, Christina and her son, Xiomar both of Youngstown; his grandmother, Doris Morales of Youngstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends that are like brothers and sisters to him.

            He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

            Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning, January 3, 2026 from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, OH 44505. Funeral Mass will be at St. Dominics Catholic Church, 77 East Lucius Avenue, Youngstown 44507 at 10:00 a.m.
