James Madison Hudson Jr.
James Madison Hudson Jr. departed this life on November 27, 2024 at Washington Square Nursing home from a short illness.
He was born October 5, 1949 to Rosa Mae Murray Hudson and James M. Hudson Sr. He graduated from Market Street High and served in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He worked at Packard Electric for 10 Years then retired from Luna Local 423 in Columbus, Ohio as the recording supervisor being the representative for the union and the democratic party of Franklin County. He was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ and was an ordained deacon, elder and minister and occasionally preached at the church and taught adult men’s bible classes. He loved spending time with his family, reading his bible scriptures, listening to old school music and traveling.
To mourn his loss are his sisters, Erma (Daniel) Smith, Marva Smith, Phyllis (Earl) Stringer, Anita Hudson; a brother, Brent Hudson and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death were his parents and a brother, Maurice Hudson.
Services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Eastside Church of Christ, 1750 Niles Ave SE, Warren, Ohio 44484. Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 pm.
