Jacqueline Denise (Bellard) Woods

            Ms. Jacqueline Denise Woods, 71, of Youngstown, transitioned from this earthly labor to eternal peace on Friday, October 10, 2025.

            Ms. Woods was born December 20, 1953 in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald C. Williams and Jewel Bellard Julious, and reared by Leon C. Julious, Jr.  She was a 1971 graduate of South High School.  A devoted and loving homemaker, she was a former member of Antioch Baptist Church; and a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.  Jacqueline had a green thumb for house plants, and was often consulted by others in the caring of plants.  She took joy in reading and music, however, her passion was her children and family.

            She leaves to cherish her precious memory, two children, Nathan D. Woods and Jaclyn N. Woods; two grandchildren, Nia Jalyn Keaton and Jamal Jiru Keaton all of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters, Lisa Williams of Philadelphia, PA and Angela Julious of Youngstown; a brother, Walter Duncan of Youngstown; and a host of family and many friends.

            Meeting her at Heaven’s Gate were her parents; her son, Stephen Prestley; and sister, Angela Williams.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44506.  Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m.
