Isaac Larry "Ike" Bell

Mr. Isaac Larry Bell, Jr., 76, of Youngstown, transitioned from his earthly labor on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Greenbriar Health Care surrounded by  his family.

            Mr. Bell, affectionately known as “Ike”, was born July 14, 1949 in Youngstown, a son of Isaac L. Sr. and Ruth Ware Bell.  He was a 1967 graduate of South High School.  Isaac had been employed with Asbestos before becoming disabled.  He was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church; and enjoyed weight lifting, exercising, music and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

            He leaves to cherish his memory two children, Gwendolyn M. Bell of Youngstown and Isaac Fountain of Columbus; two grandchildren, Isaiah Bell of Eastlake, and Keasia Bell of Youngstown; three great grandchildren; his siblings, Jeorjiana Bell and Virginia “Cookie” Coleman both of Youngstown, and Joseph Bell of Texas; his caregivers, Montell Cochrane and his mother, Cathy Butler; and a host of loving family and friends.

            Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Jonathan, Anthony “Tony”, and Ruth “Baby Doll” Bell.

            Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.
