Mr. Hylvester Bullock, 79, of Youngstown Peacefully transitioned onto eternal paradise Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Mr. Bullock was born November 9, 1945 in Louisburg, North Carolina a twin son of James and Lillian Bullock. Hylvester was a welder for over 20 years with the All Secure Company. He was a man of God and member of Greater Liberty Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman who loved family, fishing and traveling, as well as cooking and working with heavy metals.
He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his son, Kevin Bullock (Linda Love) of Columbus and Maurice Morris of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Latoya Bullock his caregiver, Kenneth Bullock, and Kevin Bullock, Jr. all of Youngstown, and Jaron Morris of Toledo; three sisters, Ann Bullock, Olivia Johnson and Carol Bluford all of New Jersey; brother Eddie Asberry (Nadine) of Atlanta; his very special friend and partner Jackie Spann-Menton of Youngstown; and a grand host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other special family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his beautiful wife of 35 years, Mrs. Elizabeth Asberry; a daughter, Sharon Bullock; a son, Eddie Asberry; a granddaughter, Mercades Harris; seven brothers Slyvester, James, Kenneth, Charlie and Haywood Bullock; Tommy Lee and Herman Price and four sisters, Annie, Mary, Marie Bullock; and Minnie Davis.
Visitation will be Monday, February 17, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.
