Harold Anthony Tomlin was born February 21, 1941, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the son of Russell Tomlin and Bertha Tomlin-Johnson. Harold transitioned peacefully to eternal rest on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Harold attended East High School and Youngstown State University. Harold was known as a "Jack Of All Trades.” He was an accomplished medical consultant and skilled computer technician. He felt that he could master anything. He also was an avid sports fan (Steeler Nation)!
Harold loved and cared for his family dearly. Those left to celebrate his legacy and cherish his memory are his three children, Debra Staples, Carla Tomlin, and Gary Tomlin, four grandchildren,Tiffany Mays, Chi'Mere (Jonah) Thompson, Trey Tomlin, and Richelle (Travis) Burgess, 5 great-grandchildren, niece, Kimberly Peaks-Ezell, beloved friend Carl "Woods" Underwood, amazing neighbors, Pamela "Pam" Carr and Debra "Debbie" Sharp, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Lewis Gus Johnson, and sister, Margaret Tomlin-Berger.
Harold helped everyone. His words of wisdom will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, OH 44505. A celebration of life will follow at 12:00 p.m.
