Ms. Grace Clemons, 87, of Youngstown, departed this life Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Omni Manor Nursing Home.
Ms. Clemons was born August 2, 1937 in Dublin, Georgia, a daughter of Lester and Willie Maud McClendon Clemons. She received her BA degree from George Washington University in DC. Grace was employed with the National Science Foundation as an administrative assistant for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses East Congregation and a part of the Field Ministry. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, and loved being with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her brother, Willie James Clemons of Campbell; two sisters, Florine Waller of Campbell and Doris Drumgole of Yorba Linda, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Alberta Woolen; and a brother, Lester Clemons Jr.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd., Youngstown. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.
