            Mr. Gerald Clark, 83, of Youngstown, departed this earthly tabernacle on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at his home with his family at his side.

            Mr. Clark, affectionately known as "Jerry", was born August 16, 1942, in Youngstown, a son of Herman and Mary Lee Wyche Clark. He was a 1962 graduate of North High School. He had been employed with the United States Steel Corporation for several years. Jerry had worked as a truck driver for Medco Pharmaceuticals and Ohio Medical, retiring after over 15 years of service. He was a former member of Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, yard work, and listening to music. He adored his family and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and the L.A. Lakers. Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.

            He leaves to mourn his passing, but to celebrate his life and legacy, his beloved wife, the former Mary Alice McCall, whom he married September 19, 1970; two children, Gerald T. (Michelle) Clark and Felicia G. Clark-Brown, both of Youngstown; a grandson, Bryson Z. Clark-Brown; two sisters, his twin Geraldine (Livingston D.) Clarke of Dover, Delaware, and Beatrice Paige of Youngstown, as well as several nieces and nephews. A host of cousins, friends, and neighbors.

            Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herman Clark Jr., and six sisters, Evelyn Clark, Betty Jane Jones, Betty Mae Clark, Virginia Mae Peterson, Mary Elizabeth Monroe, and Ernestine Delores Backus.

            Visitation will be on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Friendship Baptist Church, 646 Lakewood Ave., Youngstown, OH. 44502. A celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
