Emmer Ann LeFlore

            Ms. Emmer Ann LeFlore, 68, of Youngstown, transitioned from her earthly labor to her eternal reward on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

            Ms. LeFlore was born September 28, 1957, in Youngstown, a daughter of George Henry Sr. and Bertha Mae Cruder LeFlore.  She was a 1975 graduate of East High School.  Emmer had been employed as a machine operator with Dinesol Plastics.  She attended Kimmelbrook Baptist Church and Neighborhood Ministries.  She was a member of the Board of Elections for Rockford Village; a trustee and cook for the Youngstown Little Bears; and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.

            She leaves to forever cherish her precious memory two children, Raymond (Kristen) LeFlore of Killeen, TX, and Shaqualia (Mark) LeFlore of Youngstown; eleven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; stepsons, Marvin Howell, Michael Austin and Willie Green; five siblings, Jessie LeFlore of Youngstown, Ada LeFlore of Mansfield, Rosemary LeFlore of Columbus, Florene Crook and Lowrine Rhodes both of Youngstown; and a host of nieces and nephews, Mike Donley, James Allen, Jason Pinkard, Vonnie LeFlore-Davis, Alva Givens, and Tracey Shepherd; godchildren, Kysha Martin, Jewellette Liason, Sheena Griffin, Melinda Griffin-Phillips, Michael Heard, Tawayme Jett; dear friends, Shelly Kelly, Royshanette Davis, Sherry Williams and Mr. Tracy Wilks; and a host of family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Raven LeFlore; four siblings, Clemael, Charles, George Henry II LeFlore, and Elizabeth Womack; two nephews, George Henry LeFlore III and Pernell Brewer; and a niece, Ava LeFlore.

            Visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 12:00 noon.
