Elijah Robinson

Mr. Elijah Robinson, 88, of Youngstown went home to be with the Lord, Friday April 25 2025. 

Elijah was born the son of Wagner and Queen Lewis Robinson on August 26, 1936.  He was a graduate of East High School and an Army Veteran having served in the Korean War.  He had been employed at Youngstown Sheet & Tube Mill, retiring after working for 22 years.  His hobbies were riding his motorcycle and driving his cars.  He was always fixing houses and was a member of Christian Bible Baptist Church. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Thomas Robinson; nieces Pamela Connelly of Virginia, Amanda Connelly of Cleveland; his nephew, Chaplin Wendell Connelly of Youngstown; his niece Nycole Daniels whom he loved as a daughter; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Daniels Robinson; a daughter, Jackie Robinson; two sisters, Rose Mary Connelly and Colepoes Howell; two brothers, William Towens and Wagner Robinson Jr. 

A Home Going Celebration will be Thursday, May 8, 2025, at L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44505.  Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m.   Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
