Deon T. Parish

Deon Parish was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 4, 1989.  He completed his education at Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Ohio and then pursued a career in the food services industry driven by his passion for serving others.  Deon was a passionate supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes college football team and a devoted fan of Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers. 

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, mother, Devonne White-Diggs (Grover); father, Demon Parish; his son, Del’ricco Parish; grand-mothers, Ruth Grayer and Linda Beachum; grandfather, Fredrick White; siblings, Dominique White, Desmon Parish, Demond Hymes, Diamonn Hymes (Joshua), Demond Taylor, Justin Hail, Robert Sanders and Gracie Miller; his uncles, Ryan Freeman, Quality and Micah Staples; aunts, Marrissa White, Lisa Manigault, Barbara Beachum, Erica Beachum and Michelle Lynette Parish; nieces; DeParis, Dakota, DaLondon and Deyton; nephews; DeMarion, Dalyn, Demond III and Denim; and a host of loving family and friends. 

Deon is preceded in death by several of his beloved family members, grandfathers, Robert Grayer and Willie O. Fleming; great grandma, Barbara J. Aziz; and great-grandparents, MC and Masie Triplett.  His loved ones are grateful and blessed for the time shared with him and for the overwhelming love he shared throughout his lifetime. As we say goodbye to him, we find comfort knowing he’s resting with the Lord. 

We will forever cherish the memories we shared with Deon and celebrate his life and legacy.  Visitation will be Monday January 22, 2024, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44505.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon. Services of dignity and love entrusted to L.E. Black Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
