Deborah Green-Mose Obituary

On Thursday April 3rd, 2025, surrounded by the love and light of her family Deborah Lynne Green~Mose’ “Debbie” 67, ( or Deb or ah as she it) made her earthly transition back to our Heavenly Father and her ancestors who were awaiting her arrival.

Debbie was born on June 28th 1957, in Youngstown, Ohio.  A daughter of the late Claud O. Green Sr and Doretha Matthews~Green.

Debbie was a 1975 graduate of North High School and she had also attended Youngstown State University. She was formerly employed by the US Postal Service. She later served The Lord though her work as one of the most  kind, caring and compassionate nurse’s assistant God could give. She truly loved caring for people. She spent some of her years caring for patients in nursing homes and her last 15 years at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital until God saw fit to retire her early in 2017.

Debbie was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, so much that her favorite colors are black n yellow, black n yellow. Debbie enjoyed bingo and had fun at the casino. She loved gospel concerts , going to plays and of course she’s been to plenty of Steelers vs Browns games.  Deborah loved her family and she loved being with her family. She loved to serve us through food. Deborah was an excellent cook, perfect in the kitchen. She was so proud of ever dish she made. And we all know Debbie ain’t burn no chicken. Full of personality she loves a good laugh or a funny prank. Deborah was so full of love and she loved The Lord.  Even when she couldn’t say anything else she could say  “ I just love you and THANK YOU GOD.

Debbie leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, a son,  Paul (Cushena) Weston,  two daughters, Doretha Weston and Johneice Green. A stepson Morgan Francis and a stepdaughter Miko Francis both of Houston, Texas. Four brothers John (Sonya)  Dwayne, Alex and Andre Green.
