De`Lyon Alexandria Jordan

Ms. Delyon Alexandria Jordan, 31, of Warren, transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Delyon was born on September 3, 1993, in Youngstown, Ohio, the cherished daughter of Albert and Debra A. Jordan.  She was a 2011 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and a proud four-year member of the marching band. She also pursued nursing studies at Kent State University’s Salem Campus. She was employed by Home Depot as a customer service Coordinator. She was an active member of Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Cleveland where she shared her talents to the Choir, Media, and Youth ministries, while also volunteering in numerous other capacities.

A passionate advocate for Sickle Cell Awareness, Delyon had a zest for life that was shone through her love of music.  She played the saxophone and loved the keyboard and guitar.  Her hobbies included watching movies, studying electronics, and working on her car.

Delyon’s memory will be forever cherished by her parents, Albert and Debra Jordan, her brother Albert Nevels Blake Jordan, and her grandparents, Mother Donna Jordan of Hubbard and Bishop Emmitt (Lucille) Nevels of Youngstown. She leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends who celebrate her life and legacy.

She was welcomed at Heaven’s gate by her grandmother, Mother Frances Nevels, and her grandfather, Albert E. Jordan.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at L. E. Black, Phillips, and Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd., Youngstown, OH 44505. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Church of God in Christ 2940 Martin Luther King Drive, Cleveland, Ohio 44104.
