Darlene Flint Obituary

Ms. Darlene Flint, 66, of Campbell, Ohio, departed this life on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic.

Darlene was born on April 15, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Randolf McKinney and Aretha Flint. She attended East High School and graduated in 1977. Soon after graduating, Darlene met Ronald Morgan (known to many as “Bo”) and entered into holy matrimony on October 1, 1980. From this union, they shared a son, “Baby Flint,” born on September 26, 1984, who sadly passed away a few days later.

Darlene held many professional hats through the years. She was employed by Paragon Industries for 8 years as a Machine Operator. At Goodwill Industries on Belmont Avenue, Darlene worked for 6 years as the Laundry Unit Manager. She also worked as a receptionist for 4 years at National Towers.

Darlene met her long-time loving companion of 10 years, Evonne Jackson (affectionately called “Easy”), with whom she shared many fond memories, laughter, love, and admiration.

Darlene loved watching daytime television. Her favorite show was Judge Judy. She enjoyed anything related to wrestling, completing word search puzzles, tending to her plants and goldfish, and getting caught up in the world of soap operas.

When she wasn’t watching television, Darlene loved being on the go—nothing could hold her back as long as she had her scooter. She spent much of her time at the Easter Seals Day Program, where she played bingo, socialized with friends, and enjoyed making arts and crafts.

Darlene leaves to honor her loving memory her siblings: Anita Flint, Marlin McPeters, and Denise “Beeze” McPeters (Simmons). Sharing in the honor of her memory are her lifelong friend, Eileen Holloway, and four godchildren: Katrina Holloway, Chauncey Holloway, Ja-Meire Brown, and Cashmere Dothard. Her dear friends and neighbors—Ovella Blackmon, Regina West, Winston Layton Jr., and Jackie Spann—also continue to cherish her memory. A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family remain to treasure her life and legacy.

The family wishes to give a sincere thank-you to Darlene’s nursing aide, Amilexie “Lexie” Pitre, for her years of dedicated service in assisting Darlene with her daily activities.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Randolf McKinney and Aretha Flint; her brothers, Steve Flint and Anthony McPeters; her son, “Baby Flint”, and nephew Anton Flint.
