Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018 at the New Bethel Baptist Church for Mr. Da’mon LaMarquise Jackson, 20, of Youngstown, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Akron Children’s Hospital.
Mr. Jackson was born June 26, 1998, a son of Ciara Jackson and Joseph Perez. He had attended Leonard Kirtz School and To God Be The Glory Ministry. A very happy and cheerful young man, Da’mon enjoyed watching Kevin Hart, SpongeBob and The Jerry Springer Show. He loved watching Nascar and playing with model cars, but most of all being with his sister, Azarijah, and making her laugh, as well as the rest of the family. He was a fun-loving person, who was loved by most everyone who met him.
He leaves to mourn his passing, but to rejoice in his peace, his mother of Youngstown; his father of Ohio; siblings, Azarijah Jackson and Jonathan both of Youngstown; grandparents, Sears and Francine Jackson of Charlotte, NC; two aunts, Tameron and Ayeshia Jackson both of Charlotte, NC; an uncle, Elijah Stroughter of Youngstown and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Damon Gillam.
Friends may call Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements entrusted to the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
