Curtis Bolden, Jr.

Mr. Curtis Bolden Jr., departed this life August 29, 2024 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Medical Center Youngstown.

Curtis was born on December 20, 1965 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Curtis Sr. And Edna Mae Pasley Bolden. He was a graduate of South High School. He was a self taught artist that painted many billboards and murals all across Youngstown. He was also a self taught barber. He was a football coach for many years and mainly enjoyed his coaching years with the Volney Rodger’s little league football. He was known to be a jokester, avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, excellent cook, and sharp dresser. Curtis was a member of motorcycle clubs , loved fishing, and loved his family dearly. His daughters were the apples of his eyes. He attended Grace Evangelistic Temple and Curtis knew no strangers.

He leaves to mourn his passing , two daughters ; Jayla Morgan and Aaniyah Buggs both of Youngstown , his cousin Barbara Strozier Abron who was like a sister; an Aunt Delores Duncan, his Uncle John Whitman Sr., all of Youngstown and an Uncle Kenneth (Cecil) Pasley of Atlanta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his Grandmother Stevia Mae Pasley, his Great Grandmother Mrs Eddie (Big Ma) Wesson and his brother Mark Bolden and his best friend Jamie Harrison.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00am Friday September 13, 2024 at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home with funeral services following immediately at 11:00 a.m.
