Mrs. Cindy Ruth Ransaw, 66, of Youngstown transitioned to eternal rest and peace on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her home with her loved ones by her side.
Mrs. Ransaw was born March 28, 1957 in Youngstown, a daughter of Brady T. Sr. and Irutha Lee Stewart. She was a 1975 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and had been employed as a nurses aide at various nursing home. Cindy attended Metro Assembly of God. Her pastime was spent reading, cooking, shopping and being with her beloved family. She was a part of the Thirsty Thursday Bible Study Group.
She leaves to mourn her passing but to rejoice in her eternal peace, her husband, Jackie T. Ransaw; her son, Travis C. Ransaw of Youngstown; her siblings, Jeannie Stewart, Gina Ford and John Ford all of Youngstown and Daisy (Archie) Primm of Flint, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Vivian Stewart; and two brothers, Brady T. Jr. and Kenneth Stewart.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Metro Assembly of God, 2530 South Avenue, Youngstown, OH 44502. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery. Masks are optional.
