Charles Grover Ratliff

Mr. Charles Grover Ratliff, 84 of Youngstown, Ohio, transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Ratliff was born July 3, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Elliot T. Sr. and Edna M. Dent Ratliff.   Charles was a graduate of East High School. After graduation, he worked at various jobs for the city of Youngstown. He was also a spiritual man. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid boxing fan.  Mr. Ratliff's favorite thing to do was “fight” and he loved being called “The Baby.” 

He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his wife, Yvonne “Peaches” Ratliff, his mother-in-law, Edna Moore, his children, Charles ( Lisa) Ratliff, Eric (Julie) Ratliff, Charles Lynch, Lance Lynch, Randy ( Toya) Lynch, Chantelle Taylor of Akron, Ohio and Trinity Gurley; his brothers, John Ratliff of Columbus, Ohio and Micheal (Sonya) Ratliff of Goldsboro, North Carolina, his sister, Tonya Muldrow, and sister-in-law Sandgenella Ratliff of Waldorf, Maryland.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Elliot and Edna of Ratliff and his brother, Elliot “Ted” Ratliff Jr.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jerusalem Baptist Church.
