Charles Michael Pullen Jr., 17 years young, transitioned to join his parents in their heavenly home on April 1, 2026
Charles, affectionately known as "Paupi", was born on December 11, 2008, to the late Lucille Anderson and Late Charles Pullen Sr. He was a Junior at Mahoning Valley High School. Charles spent a lot of time playing video games, the X-Box in particular. Charles was very well known and loved by many at a very young age, he made a special impact on whoever he came encounter with. His passion was being with his grandmother's and spending time with his family, especially his older cousins, Justyn Glover, Kevin Pullen, Anthony Moore; and his best friend Eiran Walker. He was an avid Seattle Seahawks Fan.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his precious grandmothers, Rosemarie Anderson and Betty Jean Pullen both of Youngstown, OH; a bonus Dad who helped rear him since he was 2yrs old Dontrail Burkes; 5 brothers Da'Zahn Burkes, La'Kyng and Loyal Anderson, Killian Pullen, and Par'Rion Waller all of Youngstown, OH; a sister, Shannon Sims of Las Vegas, Nevada; and a special great aunt, Lizzie Moore; four aunts, two who helped rear him, Katiea and Bertha Anderson of Youngstown, OH; five uncles; and a host of other family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Anderson, and Haywood Pullen Jr; great grandparents, Bertha Mae and David Green, Rev.Booker T. Brown (Lealer), and Haywood(Mallie) Pullen Sr.; and a special cousin who was born just a week apart Ray-Twan "Man-Man" Briggs.
Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 noon.
