Carolyn Watson

Mrs. Carolyn Watson, 74, of Youngstown Ohio entered eternal rest Monday, September 16, 2024. Mrs. Carolyn Watson was born August 2, 1950 in Youngstown, the daughter of William and Willie Mae Peaks Clark. She was a graduate of East High School. She was employed by St. Elizabeth Hospital, retiring 25 years of loyal service. She loved traveling to Vegas and Atlantic City, shopping and going to dinner with family and friends and loved spending time with her two grand-daughters whom she loved dearly. She leaves to cherish her memory and rejoice in her peace, her daughter Tia Danielle Watson with whom she made her home; and her grand-daughters Mia Danielle and Ava Danielle; her Mother-in-Law Mrs. Vivian Watson and Brother-in-law Vincent S. (Belinda) Thomas and Sister-in-Law Mrs. Gina Watson and many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her adoring husband, Larry Tyrone Watson whom she married February 10, 1973 and he passed away August 26, 2009; a brother; William James Clark; three sisters; Naomi and Mary Clark and Marie Campbell and a step-sister Beatrice Ford; a brother-in law; MR. ray C. Watson and a sister-in-law Mrs. Vicky Speed. Visitation will be10:00-11:00am Wednesday September, 25, 2024 at Rising Star Baptist Church, 2943 Wardle Ave. Youngstown, Ohio 44505, with funeral services at 11:00am. Services of Dignity and Love entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
